Through gate from eee ,wt are the ways to get an govt job?

Hii,It is quite hard to land a government job just directly out of college since India produces an engineer a minute, on an average.

Electrical Engineers are always in demand for jobs. Typically jobs are given by big private companies or companies that are tied to big government sectors.

But it's only by giving exams like- GATE will we be able to get into the government sector directly.

An Electrical Engineer usually can work as-

Core field:

Systems Engineer

Electronics Engineer

Electrical Engineer

Aerospace Engineer

Production Plant Engineer

Industry Engineer

Network Engineer

Now, these are the first level jobs that one gets. You can climb the way up to become Managers and other Top level positions.

In other areas:

Sales Manager for Electrical and Technical departments

IT consultant

Project Manager

Technical Author

R&D Manager, etc..

Again, these were the positions that were offered when I was studying my Bachelors. And these are obviously to my understanding as much as I possibly remember.
