tnea cuttoff for calculation for ap
Hi,
You can calculate the cut-off marks of TNEA exam by this method for Andhra Pradesh:
The total marks of Maths is 100, Physics & Chemistry is also 100 each so the total stands to be 200 for Physics & Chemistry but you need to take the average marks that means whatever you get by adding the marks of Physics & Chemistry, just divide that by 2. So, now the total marks becomes out of 100.
For eg:
consider your mathematics marks be 80/100, physics be 60/100 and chemistry be 40/100
cut-off = 80 + {(40+60)/2} = 130
So, you are getting 130 out of 200.
Cut off is out of 200. The procedure is the same for counselling process for other states including AP.
If there's a tie then individual marks in Maths then Physics then any 4th subject is considered & if there's a tie in all of them, which is rare, then DOB is considered & whoever is older is given more priority.
Hope this helps.
