To become a gynecologist what courses should I take
Hi! To become a gynecologist, you need to first qualify for the NEET to pursue MBBS course. MBBS course is 5.5 years long, including internship.
After MBBS , you need to specialize in women’s health by pursuing a postgraduate degree such as MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology or MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology. This specialization typically takes 3 years and focuses on pregnancy, childbirth, reproductive health, and related medical conditions.
Once you complete your specialization, you can work as a gynecologist in hospitals, clinics, or even start your own practice.
