to become a pilot how much money we have to spend on our education?
Answer (1)
Hello,
Well! This answer has two parts. I am mentioning them seperately.
Part-1:
This is the conventional method for being a pilot. First of all, you have to get SPL(Student Pilot Licence), then PPL(Private Pilot Licence) and after that CPL(Commercial Pilot Licence) with Multi Engine Instrument Rating. This will cost you around INR 30–40 lakhs on an average.
After getting your CPL, you need to get yourself type rated for a particular aircraft like Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 before joining any Airline. Again, It will cost you around INR 25–30 lakhs.
So, Before joining a job as an First Officer in any commercial Airline in India you need to spend approximately 65–75 lakhs rupees.
Part-2:
This is the modern and the efficient way for being a Pilot. Yes, I am talking about cadet pilot program..Currently, In India, there are two airlines that is Jet Airways and IndiGo Airlines are running their cadet Pilot Program. What you have to do is to apply for the program and if you will get selected then the concerning Institute will take care of every formalities for being a pilot. After completion of the Course of the Cadet Program, you will get a CPL with Multi Engine Instrument Rating along with type rating.
This Cadet Program will cost you around INR 95 lakhs with everything included (Food, accomodation, Books etc).
Hope this helps......
