It depends upon your concepts and logic which you have developed during class 11th and 12th. If your concept is not strong then go with the option NCERT and other basics books and after the completion of NCERT go with the other reference books for PCM Domain , mock test and previous 10 years IIT-JEE papers.

i think For chemistry , NCERT will be more useful.
but there will be some questions out of NCERT and some questions to test your subject clarity.
so,you need some books apart from NCERT.

No,...you can not only rely on NCERT books.However, you will get enough score in Chemistry by studying Ncert but for Physics and Mathematics you need to have some extra concept and knowledge to score good marks.You can use HC VERMA for Physics,RD SHARMA for Mathematics and OP TONDON for chemistry as reference books for preparation of jee mains.
Also,solve previous year's questions to get analysis of patrern of jee mains exam.
