Hi! Making aq flowchart on this platform is a bit difficult due to technological constraints. Instead, here is a list of all steps and requirements you need to take in order to join Navy after completing your 12th. If a person wants to join Indian Navy, then there are two types of positions of taking an entry. These are:

An Indian Navy Officer is a position of responsibility. Some ways to join as an officer are:

b. 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry: 10+2 Entry is a technical entry to join Indian Navy. Boys who have passed their Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCM) with 70% aggregate can apply. Here, the apllications would be considered on the basis of a 10+2 score.
c. CDSE Entry: UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Service Examination (CDSE) twice a year. If you are interested, you have to give a written exam followed by the SSB. Then, the selections are based on the basis of written examination and the availability of seats.
2. Sailor
In order to enter Navy as a sailor:
a. Artificer Apprentice (AA): To join Indian Navy as an Artificer Apprentice (AA), you need to have a minimum qualification of Class 10+2. The written exam is held two times in a year.
b. SSR entry: Here, you have to clear minimum eligibility of passing 10+2 level and should be in the age of 17-20 years. Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) for the Indian Navy is conducted twice a year, and if you are intersted, it is a good path.
c. MR & NMR Entry: Matric Recruit (MR) and Non-Matric Recruit (NMR) are conducted for different trades. Here you will be tasked with trades like Cooks & Stewards, Sanitary Hygienist, etc
So, overall, you will have to apply for various exams in order to get in Navy. Here is a list to summarize the major ones:
