To qualify KVPY are NCERT books enough or any reference book needed....

I would like to inform you that questions asked in KVPY are completely different from the standards of questions asked in JEE MAINS or some othe competitive exams.
The question are mostly based on simple concepts and you need to apply you logic then and there and are just like aptitude questions. Thus NCERT books are more than enough. However i would suggest that you practice from some question banks too.

Fundamentals of Physics by David Halliday, Robert Resnick, Jearl Walker. It is published by Wiley Publication. Another book is Concepts of Physics by DC Pandey
For Chemistry-
Moderns ABC of Chemistry for Class-XI with CD by Modern Publishers. Another book is NCERT Physical and Organic Chemistry by OP Tandon.
For Mathematics-
Mathematics for Class XI by RD Sharma. It is published by Dhanpat.
For Biology -
Elementary Biology Volume 1 by KN Bhatiya and MP Tyagi. Publisher is Trueman.
