Tricks for verbal and di for average students
Hi Abhipsha,
Thanks for approaching us. Firstly, I do not prefer the term you have used to introduce yourself! There is nothing called 'average student/s'. All individuals are intelligent and bright; it is just the planning, perseverance and strategy that help in achieving success; this success creates the overall differentiation.
So, preparation pattern is similar for all aspirants or test takers. Abhipsha, would like to know which exams are you opting for? It seems you would like to appear for entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT by GMAC etc.
Verbal preparation requires extensive reading! You can choose to read anyone you come across. It is crucial to have the basic knowledge of grammar and skill can be sharpened through intense practice of sample and mock tests.
For Data Interpretation, try to read Business Newspaper and Magazines on a regular basis and solve questions on caselets. A case or situation will be described which will be followed by three to four questions. For DI, the questions will be in the form of line and bar graphs, pie charts etc.
