Unimportant chapters for JEE advanced?

All the chapters given in the syllabus are important as they carry some weightage. The marks distribution is not the same. Mathematics contains 35-40% calculus but that involves the knowledge of sequence and series, quadratic equation and sometimes conic section too. The questions are blended. Chemistry has questions from organic part which require knowledge of solutions, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics. Same applies to physics also. The questions are not straightforward. You need a bit of knowledge of each topic. You can certainly concentrate on some topic more than the others but that does not make the other chapters unimportant. Still chapters like solid state, optics, 1D motion, atoms and nuclei can be given less preference.
