CBSE Class 7 Exam Pattern (Unit 1)

• Periodic Test 1:

  • Usually a 20-mark test conducted a few months into the academic year, covering the first unit or initial chapters of each subject

• The syllabus may include additional languages such as Sanskrit or Urdu as per school choice

• Under the New Education Policy (NEP), students will also study coding and three languages, two of which must be Indian languages
