United Group of Institutions, Allahabad, also known as UGI, has 10 well-established institutes, six in Allahabad and four in Greater Noida. UGI, Allahabad was established in 1997. All the institutes are affiliated to Dr APJ ABDUL KALAM Technical University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).  The programmes offered by UGI, Allahabad at UG and PG level are in the field of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy and Computer Science.  In order to provide global exposure, UGI signed MOU with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand and Missouri University, Columbia, USA. More than 750 students participated in ‘Summer Education Workshop’ at AIT.

Placements

UGI, Allahabad has collaboration with Infosys for hosting campus placements. The institute is accredited by Tata Consultancy Services. Infosys has been the top recruiter over the year  placing the highest number of students. Apart from Infosys, the institute has a bulk of recruiters such as Wipro, HCL, Justdial , Axis Bank, and many more. Students are also placed in PS Us (IOC, Powergrid, NTPC, SAIL, etc.) through GATE and other related examinations. UGI has observed around 19,500+ campus placements till date. The highest package was Rs 19 LPA to BTech student.
