To secure seat in IIT for pursuing Mtech degree program you need at least 700 score under general category.This score may be change with your stream and popularity of that stream in particular IITs.If you are from core branch then you need at least 700 score in gate exam and for core stream in IITs you need even more gate score.Above cuttoff was for top ranked IITs(or old IITs) and for other IITs even with lower score (600-700 score)you can secure seat.
