Wagah is a village which is famous for its ceremony where Indian and Pakistani soldiers lower their flags. It is a symbol of Indian and Pakistani relationship and also a channel of transport with the presence of the railway station. It lies between the cities of Amritsar and Lahore and lies of the Grand Trunk road which connects the country. Every day two hours before the sunset where Pakistan Rangers and Border Security Force conduct the flag ceremony. It is a daily practice which marks the cooperation of the two countries. The ceremony marks the opening of gates and lowering of flags by both countries as a symbol of mutual coexistence and mutual peace.
