The summary of Water poem is as follows:-

‘The water’ story informs about the caste discrimination in villages of India. The poet goes back in her childhood days when they were not allowed to take water in the nearby well because they come from the lower caste. She explained how she and her friends struggled to get water from the rivers far away. The lower caste have not even get enough water for drinking whereas the upper caste got water for taking bath twice a day.
