We are not aware of the EWS category during the time of JEE MAINS application so can we carry the certificate at the time of counselling?

Even you take your ews certificate during counseling it will be of no use ; because you will allot seat on basis of your general category rank as you have no ews category rank.
So now you can not do any change in ranking .
You have to carry forward with your general rank only.
