Hotel Management is a good course for both boys and girls. There are government IHMs which are very good and there are some private IHMs which are also good. After this course the advantage is that you can not only fit into the hotel industry but also in corporate sector as guest relations officer, call centres, shipping , airlines, etc. jobs are good but only as good as you are and that is the case with every course. India is growing business and tourist destination and 2 lakh personnel are required for manning the hotels . So there is a requirement of good people . Earlier, there was a segregation in the types of jobs a girl can do. Most girls preferred Housekeeping and front office. But now that segregation is over. Girls are seen in the kitchen as well as food service too.

Due to the growth in the hospitality and tourism industry, hotel management majors are likely to find employment in a variety of supportive entry-level positions. Some of these positions include:
