What about if back subject of previous year? Same will be applicable i.e.promoting in that subject too...

If you have a backlog in any subject in the previous year, then you have to appear for that exam this year. After appearing, if you pass the backlog exam of that subject, then you will get a passed score and report for that subject a well.

Even if you get a backlog, you will still be promoted to next year, provided you sincerely pass all your previous backlog exams.
