What about the mechanical engineering branch in GMIT, Kolkata? is it good?

GMIT is a decent engineering college in Kolkata with a fine infrastructure, faculty etc. The curriculum is quite good and many appreciate it. When it comes to placements, it is average. It's mostly the CS students who get placed, though there is little opportunity for branches like Mechanical too. However, it is a decent college to go for, you can aim for govt PSU jobs or try off-campus in case placement records do not improve.
