After acquiring aa Maste degree in social work , you can apply in many fields of work. You can work in hospital, nursing homes and rehabilitation center, substance abuse. You can also opt for community health centre , mental hospital school and as well as charitable trust. You can go for counselor for behavioural disorders , sexual education, etc. The salary of a fresher is around INR 8000 to 15,000 in government or private sector. If you work with international organisation such as UNESCO you'll be paid higher. As India is a growing country, it needs people to work on new aspects and solve problems. In India you can work as administrator, researchers, policy makers etc. If you want to serve others and put others before you then it's totally worth it.
