What are - Allen's law, Gause's law and Cope's law?
Hello Ram,
Allen's rule states that endothermic animals from colder climates tend to have shorter ears, tail and leg in colder parts than in warmer parts. This they reduce surface:volume ratio.
Gause law states that if two species have almost completly overlapping niches they cannot cannot continue to co exist. One of the two species will outcompete and persist.Other will go locally extint.
Cope's law states that evolution tends to increase the body size over geological time in lineage of population
Hope your doubt was clearex.
Thankyou
Gause's Law - Two competing species (species with same ecological requirements) cannoy continue to occupy indefinitely the same habitat
Cope's Law - Tendency for animals to increase in size during lonh course of evolution
