If you wish to get a gov college you might have to wait till spot round as past years in spot round seats are still empty in many branches.

And if you wish to get core branches then it can be possible for you to get seat in a good college. As most of Students are opting for cse the crowd is more in this field. If you have some state reservation quota it will surely improve chances for you in getting a good college.
