Dear Manvi,
JEE Main Paper I has a total of 90 questions (30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) which need to be completed in 3 hours. The questions will be objective type. For each correct answer, you will get 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. This means the exam has negative marks. Zero or no marks will be given to unattempted questions.
For Paper 2 of JEE Main, the marking scheme is same for Part 1 and 2 as that of paper I. But Paper II has 3 sections - Part I will have 30 and part II will have 50 objective type questions. Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks, while each wrong answer will get -1. Zero or no marks will be given to not attempted questions. Paper II also have 2 drawing questions (which come in Part III). Here in this part, the 2 questions will be for 70 marks.
