What are options for those candidates that qualified jeeadv but with lower marks?

Hello there,
If you are getting low marks in jee advanced, then the number of available colleges in quite low, apart from IITs and IISERs, there are only 3 or 4 colleges that give admission based on Jee advanced rank...
These are
1) IIST - Indian Institute of space research and technology
2) RGIPT - Rajiv Gandhi Institute of petroleum technology

Hi harish,
Don't be upset. You did a great job. Not everyone is able to qualify jee advance... It is a very tough exam.
You can apply in govt colleges, you will easily get NITs and if you're lucky, you may get IIT in second,third round counselling.
Don't give up hope.

Hello Harish, Qualifying JEE ADVANCE is itself a great achievement and be happy that you did it. Its okay that you scored low in JEE advance examination but don't get low , just wait for the counseling process. You may get one of the best NIT's or over the few rounds of counseling you.may get a seat in one of the prestigious IIT's. Don't lose hope,just wait for the best and after all the talent within you speaks louder than the college or institution you're studying in. Remember a mantra in life when ever you go down - #sab theek hojayega.... The only motivation in life,All the best for future. regards, Tanmay asthana.

Then you can use your jee mains marks to get admission in engineering colleges as since your jee advanced score is low to get admission in IITs.
