Yes, there are more than one phases for B Tech CSE admission. As per the current schedule, the registration started on April 10 and you can book your slot for LPUNEST from April 25 onwards. The test will be held from May 15 to 31. The result will be displayed on June 6. After that seat allocation and counselling will begin. LPUNEST exam at LPU is conducted every year to provide scholarship benefits to freshers who join LPU with every passing year to fulfil their dreams.

Admissions in LPU is done in different Phases not for any particular course but for all courses LPU offers, which are bifurcations of the Admission time period. LPUNEST was conducted in different batches and its registration statrts from January itself.

As the the time passes, the scholarship categories based on LPUNEST varies from the date of the admission. So the phases in LPUNEST depicts the Scholarship categories that are being offered in that particular phase.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech. programme is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE (Mains).

LPU is offering scholarship on the basis of marks in qualifying exam, LPUNEST, national level entrance exam, etc.

Currently there are no phases in LPUNEST, but there are two schedules of counselling which will be conducted (both online) as follows:

1. The Special Schedule of counselling will help the students with existing score of JEE (Mains) January Schedule or LPUNEST (January Schedule) to confirm their admissions.
2. Regular Schedule of counselling may be conducted only on the basis of LPUNEST score and not on the basis of JEE(Mains) score so all candidates having JEE Mains (Jan Schedule) score are advised not to wait for Regular Schedule of counselling and try to confirm the admission through Special Schedule of counselling.

LPUNEST (for Regular Schedule of Counselling) will be conducted depending upon the Government decision on lockdown due to Covid-19.

Applicants who do not have LPUNEST score or JEE (Mains) score because they did not appear for exams in January/ February shall apply on or before 20th April. The schedule of LPUNEST exam and counselling / admission process will be informed later.

There are phases for scholarship and not as such for the exam.

Once you clear LPUNEST ,you will have to appear for interview and group discussions.As such there are no stages in lpunest.
