There is a huge career scope with this subject. Here some of the specializations that the course offers are economic geology, Hydrogeology, Geomorphology, Geological Engineering, Mineralogy, Petrology, Planetology, Remote sensing, Sedimentology and Structural Geology.
The subject combinations for this subject is , physics/ mathematics/ chemistry/ computer applications and some times technical english too.
