I presume you're enquiring regarding SSC CPO, it consists of four stages as mentioned below;

Paper-I is in MCQs format in English as well as Hindi with negative marking of 0.25 marks from four sections carrying 50 questions each with 50 marks;

• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Knowledge and General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Comprehension

Second stage is Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), for male candidates they've to go through the following procedure;

Race

• 100 meters race in 16 seconds
• 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes

Long Jump

• 3.65 metres in 3 chances

High Jump

• 1.2 metres in 3 chances

Shot put (16 Lbs):

• 4.5 metres in 3 chance

Third Stage is appearing for Paper-II which consists of English Language and Comprehension with 200 questions in MCQs format carrying 200 marks. There's negative marking scheme of 0.25 marks.

Based on the sucessful attempt in Paper I and II, candidates will be shortlisted for fourth stage Detailed Medical Examination followed by Document Verification
