What are the advantages of doing DCP course?

Dear Anuj, clinical pathology is basically a branch of medicine in which practitioners are involved in the diagnosis of diseases based on the lab analysis of various bodily fluids. A pathologist's tole is extremely important as it is on the basis of the results tested and produced by them and on the basis of their opinions that a doctor or physician can make an accurate diagnosis. After completing a Diploma in Clinical Pathology (DCP), you will have the option of working in various medical fields, including as a hospital diagnostician, forensic technician, medical examiner, consultant or investigator in medical labs and mortuaries, or even in academia, including as a professor, researcher or teacher. Also, you will not only have the option of opening a laboratory of your own or getting involved with a clinic of your choice, but also the chance to work with physicians, medical technologists or hospital administrations both at the Government and Private levels. The only pro or con in this field of medicine, depending on how you look at it, is that you will spend more time in the lab behind a microscope and other such equipment than in interacting with patients. To pursue a diploma in clinical pathology, which is a Post Graduation level two-year course, you will be required to have a graduation degree in a related course, such as a MBBS or a BSc in PCB subjects. Prominent colleges in India offering the Diploma in Clinical Pathology degree (DCP) include Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore, St. John's Medical College, Bengaluru and Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and Mangalore. I would request you to elaborate on the second part of your statement, regarding your current pursuit of Mechanical Engineering and your interest in gaining knowledge in computers, as both of these are unrelated to a DCP course. Hope this helps!
