The orientation program is all about the college , its faculty , its department and how is the department and faculties who work in that college . The head of department discusses about the course which you have taken admission into and also about your academics and cirricullum , also how are the exams conducted and  discusses about various exams conducted like practical exam and theory exams. The teachers speak about the different labs the department have and also the facilities that the college provides like the library , the reading room , hostel  etc: . They also tell about the different competitions taking place during the academic year , different events like sports event and different workshops conducted in order to increase knowledge of a student.They also talk about how safe the college is for students especially for girls . Lastly they talk about the placements the college provides , how good it is and how much salary can you expect after you complete your bachelor's degree . These are the aspects discussed during orientation program not only at vardaman college but in every college they discuss these aspects .
