what are the best options for me i can try with an bad jee rank of 1 lac 400 and obc rank of 29001 i belongs to uttar pradesh please guide .

U can get CFI such as- GURUKUL KANGRI, GURU GHASIDAS...
u can also get govt colleges in mp,Rajasthan, Uttarakhand ,Punjab etc.
In mp govt colleges which u can get--

In 1400000 students you got 140000 , I don't think it's a very bad score..

According to my own experience, if you want a good college, as you have caliber to score , then take a year drop, joins India's best coaching institute and prepare hard for one more year.

No that rank is not too bad .......you can still try for JAYPEE,GALGOTIAS,GL BAJAJ if you belong to uttar pradesh.....or you can try other state colleges like SILICON,CV RAMAN,HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,LNCT,....and many more....visit their websites for detailed information regarding admission procedure.

Go for some private engineering college in UP, or if possible take year gap, work very very hard and try next year.

Well at this rank you can try for some good branch in Jaypee Noida or some other private colleges . They provide with good job opportunities.
