what are the courses offered after completing inter(m.p.c) other than b.tech and degree?

Hello Dhanaraju, there are many options for higher studies other than B.Tech after you complete your Intermediate with PCM.

1. B.Sc in General Sciences (Physics, Chemistry or Maths) - You can always go for this degree if you are interested in the fundamentals of science and wish to take research or teaching as a career option. This course has ample opportunities  but requires patience and consistency in the initial years. It is a 3 years course.

2. NDA - NDA Exam is the first step of entrance to the National Defence Academy. If you wish to become an officer of the Indian Armed Forces(Army, Navy or Air Force) this is the right option for you.  For army, the course is of 3 years and for navy and air force it is of 4 years. It is a national level exam. After you clear the exam you will have to sit for SSB round and medical round before getting selected.

3. B.Arch - Architecture is another good career option. You will have to appear in JEE Main Paper 2. There are many good architecture colleges in India including IITs. The course is of 5 years in most of the colleges.

4. Commercial Pilot - PCM has another perk i.e. you can become a commercial pilot. This is the dream career of many young students but most of them fail to clear the eligibility criteria as they do not have PCM in their +2 which is mandatory. You will have to give an entrance examination and enroll into a flying school approved by DGCA and complete a 3 years B.Sc degree in Aviation along with your flying training.

The above mentioned fields are for PCM students specifically but you can always switch fields. Science is the only stream that gives you power to go for any stream or field after +2. You can select from a wide range of subjects like Economics, Commerce, Management, Fashion Technology, Law, Humanities etc.
