What are the criterias to select 200 seats only in jipmer

Jipmer has only 2 branches. Pondicherry and Karaikal. And their seat intake capacity is only 200 seats. To increase any Medical college's seat intake, they should develop the infrastructure, facilities and send a proposal to Health Ministry. They will decide whether to increase seat intake or not. In the beginning Jipmer had only Pondicherry branch. They might exaand its branches in the future like AIIMS .
