If you're asking this question in the context of after 12th standard, it depends where your interest lies along with the combination of subjects you have at 10+2 level.

For a career in Engineering, you can appear for JEE MAINS, JEE ADVANCE,BITSAT,VITEEE,COMEDK, IPU CET & AMU for BTEch.

For a career in medical, you can appear for NEET, JIPMER, AIIMS. NEET is conducted for admission of MBBS, BDS,Ayush, Veterinary and other medical courses while AIIMS and JIPMER conduct their own exam.

If you want to change your career, you can try for various programs in the field of law, media, fashion, management etc. Some of the top universities of India conduct entrance admission for admission of these programs.
