The eligibility criteria for JEE Mains is:
- Candidate must have passed class XII with 75% marks or be in top 20 percentile of his board.
- JEE Main candidates can participate in the entrance exam for 3 consecutive years. The exam will be conducted twice a year, they may appear in both the attempts. The attempt for an academic year will be considered as One.

As you ask about eligibility criteria on cm and exam so for eligible for JEE main exam Candidate should have to acquire more than 75% in their board examination for general category students for SC and ST category the minimum required marks is 65% a candidate should pass there 12th board with PCM stream.
