Hey Aditya, the most important entrance exam for B.tech is Jee Mains it is Common Entrance test type of exam which is conducted across the Nation and also outside India.

If you will be able to clear the cutoff and manage to secure a good All India Rank then you will be eligible for applying for the BioTechnology course in prestigious Government colleges such as MNNIT, Allahabad, NIT, Trichy and many others.

And, If you also cleared the Jee Advance exam and secured a good rank then you can also apply in some of the good IITs.

Jee Advance is also conducted across the Nation but only individuals who have cleared Jee mains can give this exam.

You can also give various state level engineering entrance exam like KCET(Karnataka Common Entrance Test).
