Animation effects are defined as the predefined behaviours that can be applied to components. These animation effects can be categorised into 4 category, namely, Entrance, Emphasis, Exit, and Path in PowerPoint.

• Entrance effect controls the way an object appears on the slide.
• Emphasis effect controls how the audience's eyes are drawn to the animated object.
• Exit effect controls how the animated object will leave the slide.
• Path effect controls the movement of the texts and object around the slide.
