What are the main differences between a B.A. & a B.S.?
Hello,
Basically both are the undergraduate degree courses
In BA you go through the art subjects like History Hindi English etc
But In BSc you study subjects belonging to Science like Maths Biology Phy Chemistry etc
One who has completed his or her 12th in Science can take any of these courses but one who has completed his or her 12th from Art side can not take BSc as undergraduate course
BOTH BSc and BA have scopes for getting agood job
The original concept of the BA was a broad - based general education which would provide a solid foundation for further studies or upon which to build ones career
A BS is one half of a medical degree a BA is a stand alone generalist degree useful as a stepping - stone to further studies
