What are the minimum marks required to get into a decent iit with a good course as per previous year (general category)?

This is Shalini.As you see that there are some students who score 360 out of 360.So the competition for getting admitted in IITS is quite tough.And as for general categories it is quite tough but it is not impossible.So I think if you score more than 200 or your rank should be between 5000 than definitely you will get a good IIT college with a good course.

It depends on the std in which you are
If you are in 11th then you have enough time to study each and every sub.
If you are in 12th then you don't have too much time.you have to prepare for boards and competition also.so you should prepare all the chapters of 12th and chapter of 11th which contains more marks to score good marks.
If you are a dropper then go marking wise.The chapters which contains more marks have to prepare first.
Be assure that you can solve any questions from the topic you have studied.Don't try to cover more topic,cover little topics with 100% assurance.

There are different number of seats for general categories in different IITS.Please mention the name of IIT and in which stream you want to get admission.
