If I am not wrong you're asking about the most important Engineering Entrance Exams. In India, (Joint Entrance Examination) JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED are the most popular Engineering Entrance Exams. These exams are held to offer B.Tech degree in various Engineering Streams like CSE, Civil and many more. This exam is conducted by NTA (, National Testing Agency) on behalf of IITs. JEE exams are held to offer Admission in IITs, NITs IIITs and they are the most prestigious Engineering Institutions of the Country. These exams are accepted by most of the Engineering Institutions/Colleges in India.

JEE Mains and Advanced are for UG programmes but to pursue M.Tech (Master's of Technology), GATE is the most popular Engineering Entrance Exam. Just like JEE Mains and Advanced, score of GATE is also acceptable in most of the Engineering Institutions.

Apart from JEE MAINS and ADVANCED and GATE, you can appear for VITEEE ( Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam) and SRM JEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam). But, you will get admission into VIT through VITEEE and SRM through SRM JEEE.
