what are the necessary details for applying jee mains

From 2019 onwards, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has been granted the authority to design and develop the JEE Main syllabus as well as set the exam pattern. While there were a few modifications made to the exam pattern in 2019, for the upcoming 2020 exam NTA has yet again introduced some new changes. They are as follows.

• Three papers for JEE Main. Paper 1 for B. E/ B. Tech, Paper 2 for B.Arch, Paper 3 for B.Planning.
• Paper 1 will now consist of 77 questions where 25 questions will be asked from each section. Earlier the paper had 90 questions in total.
• Paper 2 is now only set for B.Arch courses. It will consist of 77 questions and the total marks allotted is 400.
• Paper 3 will consist of 100 questions and the paper will be out of 400 marks.

The candidates should be ready with the following documents before filling the JEE Main application form -

Qualification Details (such as Class 10 th Roll Number/ Intermediate or Class 12 th Details - Stream, Course etc)	Scanned Copy of Passport Size Photograph

Dear Aspirant

The documents required for JEE registration are:

Your photo (passport size).

Your board (ISC/ CBSE/state board) roll number.

Your signature (should be same as your board admit card).

Your parent's signature (either your mother/father).

Aadhar Card number.(It's compulsory otherwise you can't sit). Those who don't have one are asked to enroll for one. ( Make sure your Aadhar name and Board name are exactly same). If you don't have one enroll now. ( No other govt. id will work)
Your marks if you have already passed class 12.
If you lie in OBC/SC/ST, then they might ask for a certificate)

Your bank account details for filling up online form.

You can take a picture of these and upload them. For uploading only signature and your photo is asked.
