The girl's reservation will go on the fact that there will another rank list only for the girls according to their marks where their rank will be lesser than their common merit list rank. For example:- if a girl has CRL Rank 2400 then in the girl's merit list her rank may bounce up to 350-400.
Finding the number of girls below that rank is not possible because those data is with the board only and not published anywhere.
Yes, it helps in branch selection for the girls but this has no adverse or favorable effect on the branch selection for boys.

Girls comprises nearly 12-13% of the total qualified students in JEE advanced. So you can assume there will be nearly 70-80 girls in top 600 students. However it may vary a bit.
