What are the opportunities in practicing Allopathy after BAMS?

Hi.
It depends on the rules according to your state. Because recently there was notice served to some BAMS practitioners in Gujrat by AMC (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation) for prescribing allopathic medicines, however after intervention of Gujrat Ayurveda Board, it was decided that no action will be taken against BAMS practitioners because the section 30 of Gujrat Medical practitioners act 1963 allowed them to practice allopathic medicines. However, action will be taken against BHMS practitioners as they are not extended the same courtesy by the ACT.
So read the state rules, in the state you wish to practice.
