Hello,
Since we are talking about NITs as they are one of the finest institutions of our country, In general terms you will not face any major difficulty in technical fields. You can feel problems in daily life like language difference if you move to some different state and you might face weather change and cultural change, for some people these are some major issue. Overall in academic life you won't have trouble. It depend on which NIT you are talking about too.
