Hi hey, you can choose Electronics and Communication Engineering as it is an evergreen course and helps you go both in the hardware and software jobs provided you really have an interest in electronic circuits. This is also suggestable as per the marks you mentioned. CSE has been the common one these days so try for the new to see good changes!!!

For your marks of 170 your rank lies in range 10000-12000 in general category. For this rank you can get all branches in almost all NITs. You may not get CSE in very top NITs like trichy warangal, but will get ECE, EE there. And you will get other good NITs with Cse.
