Scoring such marks in Jee can definitely easily get you rank inside 1000. However achieving this in the exam is really a challenging thing to do.
First of all one should try to cover all the syllabus throughly. Once covered he should try to find his strong and weak topics in the syllabus and then should try to focus on strength first to make it rock solid. Also he should try to give special focus on weaker section as for scoring 300 every section is essential.
Regular testing yourself with unsolved paper and loking at previous years pattern of questions asked will definitely help to not only manage time but also build your confidence which is most important in exam hall.
Hope this would be beneficial to you.
Below there are some tips to score 300+ in JEE Main
Concepts should be crystal clear in your mind. If you are going to start preparation now from zero level do it thoroughly. Dont get discouraged if you dont really have a lot of time in your hand. Its possible. Students have managed to score marks close to 320 with just 3 months in hand.
2. Selection of Books
The books you select for your reference will either make things easy for you or difficult. A lot of authors and books have emerged in recent times bu we suggest the following:
1. DC Pandey and H C Verma are enough to build concepts in Physics.
2. SK Goyal would be ideal for Maths (Algebra). Maths is a scoring subject and if you are referring to this book, you can easily score around 80% here.
NCERT, however will still remain your primary reference book and that cannot be ignored out overlooked whatsoever.
3. Concentration
Concentration has a lot to do with your efficiency. If you are productive, you will be able to do more things in less time.
4. Self Study
Self study is by far the most important factor because of the following:
You should be spending your academic time in three things:
Absorption of concepts (i.e learning concepts)
Application of concepts (i.e problem solving)
Analysis
However, you spend time 90% of the time in absorbing concepts , 10% time in application of concepts and absolutely no time for analysis.
So you need to start balancing these three things out
Hello dear student,
We are aware jee mains is of 360 marks total . It's not easy to get that much marks easily for which you are aiming but the thing is it's not even that difficult to get as said. To get marks above 300 follow the simple steps that is . first of all you concept should be crystal clear so that one question comes in front of you you are not scared to answer it. Then try to solve as many as questions you can solve to get a grip on questions and also it is good to solve questions before so that you can solve questions easily when they come in exam. also it is mandatory if you want to get a good score to solve previous year question papers because that gives you an idea what type of questions can be asked in exam and what will be the logical reasoning and the trick to solve the question. I hope this helps
Best wishes
