What courses should I take for robotics programming

In India, there is no B.Tech programme wherein you can learn robotics programming, artificial intelligence, software design and high level programming all together. You need to first understand what do you want to pursue. If you wish to pursue Artificail Intelligence/software programming, then you need to opt for Computer Science Engineering, while if you want to get into robotics, then Mechanical Engineering is the branch you must get into. Apart from these, there is no specific/exclusive engineering branch which teaches only Robotics in India. Moreover, Robotics does not have much scope in India. Neither the education system promote it that much, nor does it have much scope in terms of career in India. Also, you will not be able to learn much about Robotics at UG Level in India. However, you can pursue B.Tech in Computer Science or Mechanical as per your interest and final decision and thereafter can opt for masters abroad which is the only option if you really want to make your career in this feild.
