what degree should we attain to be a councelor in any college?

if you want to become a college counselor there are a few points that you should keep in mind the degree that one must complete is of bachelor degree in behavioural science social science field for some other field.

Then one should must done with their master degree in counselling, psychology or social work or mental health counseling.

After this you must do internships experience for certification/ licensure requirements.

Pass any required counselling exam for the certification which are or national counselor examination or national clinical mental health counseling examination.

Then you can apply and an additional mental health certificates

Then you can apply at the various places to become counselor.
