what different between ICMR and CISR analysed please

Here is the basic difference between both the organisations which can be understood by a layman also.

ICMR stands for Indian Council for Medical Research. This body will promote research in the biomedical field and governs all Medical related activities in the country along with developing and delivering strategies for health care system.

CSIR stands for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. This body has its research arm spread over such fields of study which are related to Environment or are related to Industry. Few major topics include: Aerospace engineering, Petroleum, Plants and their characteristics etc.
