In counselling, the counsellors will ask you for your preferred branch and preferred college. Then, they will tell you that you can take admission in these these colleges in your preferred branch and they will also tell you the branches for which you are eligible to get admission in that particular preferred college.

That's all, they will try to make you understand the admission and fee criteria and will help you choosing the right college.
