MCA is Master of Computer applications. It is a 3 year master degree course after completing BCA(Bachelor's in Computer applications). It covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimisation, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc. After completing BCA + MCA a student is considered equilent to a Btech (CS) degree holder.
