Application form for all the courses can be filled online by visiting the Online Admission Portal of the college site. JEE main qualified candidates are eligible to apply for B.Tech course. Admission is based on merit.

The admissions in Jamia Hamdard for the B.tech course is particularly based on the score of JEE Exams.
There are also others criteria for the admissions:
- Candidates should have completed 12th from any recognized Board with 60% aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates should valid Scores in JEE Main Paper 1.
- Non-JEE Applicants can also apply for the admissions, but they have to appear for the Interview.

Jamia Hamdard University offers full-time B.Tech courses at ug level. 50% marks in 10+2 (PCM) is the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech .
Rank in JEE Main is required to secure admission in B.Tech while admission to other courses is based on merit in the last qualifying examination followed by an Interview.
For B.Tech program, if seats remain vacant then admission will be offered on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination on an internal test conducted by the university.

At Jamia Hamdard University New Delhi BTech admissions are taken on the basis of JEE mains paper marks, percentile and rank.
- Candidates will be invited for the counselling based on the marks obtained in JEE Main Paper 1 . In the Counselling Process.
- The Counselling will be held in online mode.
- Candidates will be offered seats based on the preference of choices , Merit , Availability of seats & marks obtained in the Entrance Exam .
- After allotment of seat, candidates have to reach the alloted college for admissions.
